Yes. But, before committing, please judge the maturity of any minors as the locations involve adult settings, including bars and casinos. You'll need to purchase tickets for children 5 and older.
No. Your name(s) will be at the registration desk when you arrive for the event. The confirmation email you receive will serve as your proof of purchase.
The event is held in towns nearby the city of Las Vegas. You would want to make arrangements to fly into the Harry Reid International Airport.
Plans for the event involve the towns of Goodsprings and Primm, about 30 minutes from Las Vegas, as well as Sandy Valley, which is roughly 45 minutes from Las Vegas.
General parking will take place at Buffalo Bills in Primm, NV. There is no charge for regular vehicles. However oversized and RV parking will require an additional fee (more details coming soon). From Buffalo Bills, paid attendees with general admission access can be bussed to the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings (any/all 3 days) or Sandy Valley (Sunday) for no additional charge. Please do not park in the town of Goodsprings (this could overwhelm the 200 residents who live there full time).
Buffalo Bills, known as "Bison Steve's" in Fallout: New Vegas, is the closest hotel to Goodsprings and Sandy Valley. Buffalo Bills is located in Primm, NV (about 38 miles south of the Las Vegas airport) and is also the event's base for parking and bussing to the Pioneer Saloon, Sandy Valley Ranch and other venues. They are offering Fallout fans a special discounted room rate during the duration of the event. If you would like to book your room reservations there, please use the special discount code SCFALL2 at Buffalo Bill's online reservations link here. This is the only hotel which currently has a discounted rate for event attendees.
If you prefer to stay in Las Vegas, the M Resort Spa & Casino is the closest hotel to the main event areas and is located on the south end of Las Vegas Blvd / Las Vegas Strip. However, like the last 2 years, for an extra fee, Vegas Specialty Tours is planning a bus leaving in the morning from the Tuscany Suites & Casino, a Las Vegas hotel located near the strip, to the event's parking base, in this year's case, Buffalo Bills, and then back in the evening.
Additional information on overnight accommodations like camping on BLM, RV overnight parking, and dry camping will be available in future communications.
Uber and Lyft will often drop you off in Goodsprings or Primm, but they will not pick you up. As with last year's celebration, there will likely be a shuttle between Las Vegas and the event area daily. This information should be available in July.
No. The event is for all Fallout fans, including fans of the other Fallout games and the Amazon series.
No. Some attendees choose to dress as characters from the game and others do not. However, as with past years, there will be a cosplay/costume contest with cash prizes.
Real, operational weapons are not permitted. However, pretend weapons are allowed. Security will be checking any pretend weapons upon entry to the event.
